House News (Vyas House)

Students of Vyas House from different divisions i.e. Primary and Secondary school participated in the Inter House Drawing Competition with a thumping win that was held on 14 November, 2019. The Vyasians honed their ‘Artistic Skills’ and hence brought laurels to the House.

Vyasians with the likes of Rishi Jain, Samuel, Rose, Monika Kedia and Utkarsh brought laurels to the house by securing first place in the Inter House Badminton Tournament that was held on 5th September, 2019. The above mentioned students left no stone unturned to outsmart the players of the other two Houses on MS Badminton Court.

The football team of Vyas House with the likes of players, Ha Labu, the captain, Bamang Toli, Kunga Wangdu and Stanzin Nurboo and their team members put their best foot forward to win the Inter House Football Competition held on 5th September, 2019. The footballers from the House exhibited a perfect co-ordination while hitting the goals one after the other to add another beautiful feather in the Vyas House Cap

Inter House Table Tennis Tournament held on 5th September, 2019 , Stanzin Nurboo, Abhishek, Vineet and Avinav Akash did their best to secure first place for the house. The Vyasian Table Tennis players used their TT rackets to the perfection and with the delicate cum powerful shots on the tiny Tennis ball, saw them through to lift another trophy for the House.

Energetic athletes of Vyas House left behind the other two houses in Annual Athletic Meet- 2019. The Vyasians mustered and utilized all their strength to emerge victorious viz. Sengkan and PekaFonai bagged silver and bronze medal in 200m Senior Boys Final. Yashika secured second position in 100m, Tsering and Tashi occupied first and second positions on the winners’ platform in 1500m race. Yashika and Prachi bagged gold and bronze medals for the House in 200m race, TseringNamgyal earned bronze medal for the house in 800m race in the senior division. Divya extended her contribution trying her level best to win bronze medal for the house in 100m hurdle race for the girls, Charchit grabbed gold medal with the application of his best of efforts in 600m race in the junior boys category.

The Inter House March Past Competition was held on 26 November, 2019. Vyasians lifted the March Past Trophy with combined efforts put in by the flag bearer V. Siddharth Rao-House Captain, right marker Abhishek Kumar, NamanHasija-ViceCaptain, Karan Gambhir, Ashish Sharma, Gaurav Chahal, Nipun Mann, Sarthak Aggarwal, SanskarNath and many more to count with. The young soldiers from Vyas House synchronized the movement of their steps with the melodious March Past tunes to ultimately outclass the March Past Contingents of Buddha and Dayanand House.

An Inter House Cross Country Race was held on 14 November, 2019 in wherein Vyasians won the Inter House Cross Country Competition with the best athletes from Vyas House used their stamina to win the competition for the House. Tashi, TseringNamgyal and Sahil Negi put their best efforts together in the preparation of Inter House Cross Country that paved the way to the success. The athletes from Vyas House proved their worth in all the divisions of the race.

The ladies and gentlemen from Vyas House once again proved that they are the most deserving candidates to be adjudged the winner of the Inter House Gentlemen Trophy. They established that manners and etiquettes, being disciplined and gaining knowledge are the values that are deep rooted and an integral part of the Vyasians’behaviour and character.
